This training course is aimed at the following:
- Emergency Response Team members.
- Health & Safety Officers and Emergency Coordinators.
- Employees designated as workplace first aiders.
- Supervisors and managers responsible for emergency preparedness.
Pre-requisites for joining this course: Completed Mod1 and Mod2, Responder, Practitioner, Competency.
Course Content:
The course covers the following elements:
- Introduction to First Aid & Legal Requirements
- First Aid Response (FAR)
- Cardiac First Response (CFR)
- Emergency First Response (EFR)
- Practical Skills & Scenarios
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this module, participants will be able to:
- Perform CPR and use an AED effectively.
- Assess and manage common workplace injuries and medical emergencies.
- Apply CFR, FAR, and EFR protocols in real-life scenarios.
- Communicate effectively with emergency services during incidents.
- Complete required documentation and contribute to post-incident reviews.
Assessment Method:
- Written Assessment: Multiple-choice and short-answer questions on first aid principles.
- Practical Assessment: Demonstration of CPR, AED use, and first aid techniques.
- Continuous Assessment: Participation in group discussions and scenario-based drills
