Safety Training
Aims:
This one-day course provides delegates with an understanding of how an incident command and control system
works and how it may improve their company’s response to incidents or emergency situations.
Course Content:
Who should apply:
This training course is aimed at tactical and strategic managers and can be delivered at one of our purpose-built training venues. However, holding the course on site in surroundings familiar to the delegates provides for a more realistic training environment.
Pre-requisites for joining this course: Completed Mod1 or has been a member of an ERT team previously.
Course Content:
The course covers the following elements:
- Management of incidents
- Directing, Delegating, and Authorising people, equipment and other resources
- Generic and Dynamic Risk Assessments
- Communication
- Exercising clear discipline of policies and procedures.
- Technical Advice and Resource Allocation
- Liaison with Stakeholders and Other Agencies
- Debriefing
- Business Continuity
Learning Outcomes:
Emergency Response Team – Command and Control training course aims to provide tactical and strategic managers with an understanding of incident command systems and how to effectively respond to emergency situations. Learners will confirm knowledge and understanding during specific incident-based scenarios.
