• Supervisors and managers responsible for chemical safety and spill response.

    Pre-requisites for joining this course: Completed Mod1 and Mod 2, Previous competency in Chemicals safety.

 Course Content:

• Introduction to HazMat & Spill Control
• Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Spill Contamination & Control Techniques
• Emergency Procedures & Escalation
• Post-Incident Review & Environmental Considerations

 Learning Outcomes:

By the end of this module, participants will be able to:

• Identify hazardous materials and interpret Safety Data Sheets.
• Assess chemical spill risks and determine appropriate response actions.
• Select and use correct PPE for chemical emergencies.
• Apply spill containment and cleanup techniques safely.
• Communicate effectively during HazMat incidents and complete required documentation.

 Assessment Method:

• Written Assessment: Multiple-choice and short-answer questions on HazMat principles and spill control.
• Practical Assessment: Hands-on spill containment and PPE exercise.

Continuous Assessment: Participation in group discussions and scenario-based drills
