Pre-requisites for joining this course: Completed Mod1 and Mod2, previous competency in First Aid

Basic:
- Introduction to Fire Safety
- Fire Prevention & Preparedness
- Portable Fire Extinguishers
Advanced:
- Firefighting Equipment & PPE
- Fire Suppression Techniques
- Team Coordination & Communication
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this module, participants will be able to:
- Explain fire behaviour and identify workplace fire hazards.
- Select and use appropriate fire extinguishers safely.
- Apply advanced firefighting techniques using hoses and PPE.
- Communicate effectively and coordinate with emergency services during fire incidents.
- Document fire response activities and contribute to continuous improvement.
Assessment Method:
- Written Assessment: Multiple-choice and short-answer questions on fire safety principles.
- Practical Assessment: Hands-on extinguisher drills and advanced hose handling exercises.
- Continuous Assessment: Participation in group discussions and scenario-based drills.
