Aims:

The Fire Warden training program is designed to equip participants with the essential knowledge and skills needed to perform their role effectively in fire safety management. Fire Wardens play a crucial role in preventing fires, ensuring safe evacuation during emergencies, and supporting Fire Marshals in maintaining fire safety standards within an organisation.

Who should apply:
This course is intended for individuals who are responsible for assisting with fire safety within their workplace, particularly those designated as Fire Wardens or Fire Marshals.

  3. Fire Prevention Techniques
  4. Fire Warden Responsibilities in an Emergency

  7. Fire Drills & Practical Exercises
  8. Communication & Reporting in Emergencies

 

Learning Outcomes:

Upon completion of the Fire Warden training, participants will be able to:

  • Understand their roles and responsibilities as Fire Wardens.
  • Identify fire hazards and implement fire prevention measures.
  • Safely and efficiently carry out fire evacuation procedures.
  • Assist vulnerable persons during an emergency evacuation.
  • Use basic fire-fighting equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with Fire Marshals and emergency services during an incident.
  • Participate in fire drills and contribute to overall fire safety in the workplace.

Upon successful completion of the course and assessment, participants will receive a Shorcontrol Safety Fire Warden certification, valid for a 3-year period.
