This module focuses on equipping Emergency Response Team members with the knowledge and skills to identify, evaluate, and control risks associated with emergency situations. Participants will learn how to conduct systematic risk assessments, prioritise hazards, and implement mitigation measures to ensure safe and effective emergency response.

Health & Safety Officers and Emergency Coordinators.
Supervisors and managers responsible for emergency planning and risk management.
Anyone involved in developing or reviewing emergency response procedures.

Pre-requisites for joining this course: Completed Mod1 and Mod2.

Assessment Method:

Written Assessment: Multiple-choice and short-answer questions on risk assessment principles.
Practical Assessment: Completion of a risk assessment exercise for a simulated emergency scenario.

Continuous Assessment: Participation in group discussions and hazard identification activities
