  • IPAF MEWP For Managers

    Public Course Date(s):

    MEWPs for Managers is aimed at those who plan, supervise or manage work at height with Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) and is delivered via eLearning

    Who should take this course?
    Employers, project managers, foremen and supervisors working in a broad range of industries such as construction, facilities management, retail, airports and arboriculture. Anyone who is responsible for planning and overseeing the use of MEWPs on their job site.

  • Evening Course – Manual Handling Training

    This 4 hour course is held in Shorcontrol Safety Training Centre, Naas and commences at 5pm

  • Evening Course-Live Remote Manual Handling Training

    Public Course Date(s): 5th June 2025

    This course commences at 5pm and is delivered Live Remote through Zoom

    Delegates will be invited to join the "Live Remote Training course" and following completion of the theory section, will need to demonstrate correct lifting techniques before being certified

    Manual Handling training includes practical assessment of approved lifting techniques using general items only. For workplace specific lifting, it is the employers responsibility to conduct appropriate risk assessments for all relevant workplace manual handling activities

    This course is for all employees at each level to endorse safety awareness in the workplace. It is to take the "Don’t Walk By" approach to empower all employees to act when unsafe conditions arise

  • ATV Training- Lantra All Terrain Vehicle – Sit-in Conventional Steer

    On 20 November 2023 the new quad bike laws came into force in Ireland. Under the new regulations, operators of quads must complete an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) safety training course provided by a registered training provider to a QQI standard or Lantra equivalent

    Who should attend?
    The Sit-in Conventional Steer ATV course is for anyone who uses or will be using this type of ATV for work. Whether novice or experienced operators, this course is designed for anyone using Sit-in Conventional Steered ATVs. Options are available for tracked or wheeled conventional steered vehicles. We'd recommend a 1-day course for experienced learners and a 2-day course for those with little experience. If you're a complete novice, you may need longer to complete this course.
